Abstract:

The article presents the methodology and results of energy security assessment based on publicly available statistics. The study assessed the level of protection of the Russian energy industry and some other countries, including the post-Soviet States, the European Union and the LDC (least developed countries). The study revealed a significant level of energy security in the Russian Federation, which is on the same level as developed countries.
