Abstract:

The article focuses on the assessment of threats to the economic security of the oil and gas complex and ways their neutralization. The article points to the importance of the oil and gas industry for the country´s economy. Main problems interfering the development of the industry were considered, the indictors were assessed in comparison with foreign countries, the main methods of economic crimes were highlighted, and ways to minimize the identified threats were proposed in the research process.
