The article is devoted to the economic and socio-economic aspects of the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. It presents the main problems of the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, as well as the dynamics of imports and exports of products on the example of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), defines the directions of interregional development and the economic potential of the Arctic region.
