Abstract:

Improving the competitiveness of national economies and the widening gap between the economies of developed and developing countries, leads to the implementation of cluster policy, because such a relation-ship of enterprises contributes to the development not only of clusters, but of the innovative potential of the country as a whole. The article outlines the main theoretical approaches to the concept of «innovation cluster», provides an assessment of innovation activity of the Republic of Belarus, examines cluster models of foreign countries.
